Vintage Poppy Flower - Letterpressed Paper Coasters
"In Flanders Field the poppies grow....." begins the poem, In Flanders Field, by John McRae. The poppy flower has become a symbol of remembrance for World War I and is a highlighted feature of our current Museum exhibit - Captured: The Extraordinary Adventures of Colonel Hughes. Colonel Hughes was a Topeka native who fought, and was taken captive during WWI.
These handmade coasters by etsy artist, ruff house ART, feature a delicate red outline of a poppy. With six coaster per package, they make a beautiful and subtle addition to any room.
