Kansas State Capitol, 1910
This sepia colored photograph shows the newly completed Kansas State Capitol in Topeka, Kansas. Photographed between 1900 and 1920, the south and west wings can be seen. The state’s greatest architectural treasure was under construction over a 37-year period from 1866 to 1903. From the collections of the Kansas Historical Society, the print was produced for the Kansas Historical Foundation.
