KS Landmark Ornament Color
This colorful collectible brass ornament highlights the fascinating history of the trails through the state of Kansas. Coronado led the first European trek into the area. From east to west traders carried commerce across the state on the Santa Fe Trail. Settlers head to the West Coast on the Oregon Trail in the northeast corner. Cowboys herded cattle north from Texas on the Chisholm Trail, stopping in several cowtowns along the way. The ornament also features the state flower-the wild sunflower and the state’s most important crop-wheat.
