Territorial Seal Paper Weight
This beautifully etched glass paperweight features the Kansas Territory seal. Adopted in 1854, the seal was used until 1861 when Kansas became a state. It depicts a pioneer holding a rifle and hatchet opposite Ceres, the goddess of agriculture, near a sheaf of grain.
